Compressing waste directly on site before transport offers several advantages, both economically and environmentally. One of the biggest advantages is that the waste takes up significantly less space after compaction. When the waste is compressed, the volume is reduced, which means that a much larger amount can be transported at a time. This results in fewer transports and thus less fuel consumption, which ultimately reduces CO₂ emissions and makes transport more sustainable.

Optimizing transportation through compaction also saves money, as fewer trips mean lower fuel and labor costs. At the same time, it reduces the strain on roads and infrastructure because the number of heavy vehicles is reduced.
