MK9 EPS
The Shark MK9 EPS is an advanced compactor developed by Shark Compactors for the efficient handling of expanded polystyrene (EPS), also known as foam. It is equipped with a unique system that both shreds and compacts EPS materials, solving many of the challenges traditionally associated with processing this type of waste.
One of the outstanding features of the MK9 EPS is its large feed chamber with a capacity of up to 3.5 m³, which enables the compaction of large quantities of EPS at once, thus reducing processing time. The patented compaction system ensures a compression ratio of up to 1:50, which means that the EPS material is significantly reduced in volume.
The MK9 EPS is fully mobile and can be easily transported using trucks equipped with hook or wire hoists, making it ideal for use at various locations within businesses or recycling yards. It is also equipped with Shark Intelligent Control™ (SIC™), an advanced control system that simplifies operation by reducing user tasks to a single touch of a button. SIC™ continuously monitors temperatures, pressures and the density of the compressed EPS and automatically adjusts performance to achieve optimal results based on the selected settings.
In addition, the MK9 EPS is equipped with a fragment separator (patent pending) as standard. This unique separator removes up to 95% of unwanted materials such as stones, concrete pieces, nails, bolts, metal and wood particles from the EPS material, provided that a visual sorting has been carried out before filling.

Shark MK9 EPS
The Shark MK9 EPS is equipped with an extra large loading chamber, which enables the compaction of large quantities of EPS material at once, saving time and increasing efficiency thanks to the unique, patented compaction system. The focus of the Shark MK9 is to improve companies' operational efficiency, reduce working hours and minimize overtime costs.
Shark Intelligent Control™ (SIC™)
The Shark MK9 is equipped with Shark Intelligent Control™, an advanced and user-friendly control system developed specifically for recycling and compacting EPS materials. SIC™ reduces the operator’s workload to a minimum, as the machine is operated with just one function button. SIC™ continuously monitors temperatures, compaction pressure and the density of the compressed EPS, and automatically adjusts performance to ensure optimal compaction quality based on the selected density settings.
